Weekly Weigh In: 27/12/12

So, Christmas week. Seven days off plan, lots of chocolate and alcohol, I stepped on the scales to--

+ 1.5lbs

I was pleased with this as it could have been a lot worse! I need to get some food shopping in but I am planning to be back on plan tomorrow. Please expect regular posts to resume properly from 01/01/2013.

Weekly Weigh In: 20/12/12

I know I said no more posts until the new year but just wanted to update my weigh ins. This will literally be straight to the point as I can't remember what I ate last week!

- 2.5lbs

I was very happy with this as I wasn't really on plan last week. I was actually very shocked, but glad to get a loss in before Christmas as I knew that I'd have a gain.

Weekly Weigh In: 06/12/12

So sorry about the lack of updates, I posted last week about having a bit of a bad time of it and  on Tuesday I did go and see my doctor. I have another appointment this Tuesday to discuss what we can do about the way I have been feeling. So hopefully things will be looking up soon, but I have been told that it's a long process, however after feeling this way for 2 years +, what is a few more months?

Right, so unfortunately my bad eating continued right up to weigh in day, and the past couple of days hasn't been any better as my friend stayed over on Friday night so that we could go to the Clothes Show Live in Birmingham yesterday, it was fab but it was a day of literally lots of sugar and energy drinks. We had to get up at 5am and we actually only managed little over 3 hours sleep! Hopefully I'm back on plan today.

So, rewind back to Thursday. I'm actually the stand in weigh gal at my group so when the usual gal (Lauren) can't make it then it's my job. Actually now I'm the permanent weigh in gal as of Thursday :) So, the point to this is that I got to group early on Thursday and when I was weighed it was only myself and my consultant in the room. After telling my consultant that my gain would be awful, I stepped on the scales to a...

MAINTAIN!!!

Another shock, I did follow plan for the first 4 days of the week though, but I'm still shocked! Like I said, I'm trying to get back on it this week. I do have a mea out on Tuesday at an italian restaraunt but I'm hoping that I can stick to my preplanned meal of 'Ollo Cacciatora'- Chicken breast with garlic, onions, mixed vegetables and tomato sauce with a side of broccoli. I'm hoping the syns won't be too high, but it will still be better than a calzone regardless!

So there we have it, please expect more regular food posts now (hopefully)!

Plan For The Week Ahead

I'm well aware that it's Friday, but because my weigh in is on a Thursday evening, my food week really starts on a Friday. So I am really pleased with how my first week went, and was ecstatic with my weight loss. Please see my weigh in post below if you haven't already. I do confess that I probably did try and eat less than I normally would, I worry sometimes that my appetite is too big and I really wanted that big first week weight loss. But I did stick to plan, however Slimming World really isn't about limiting your appetite, the ONLY limit IS you appetite. However big it may be. So I am going to try to eat a little more this week, and hope that my weight loss will still be good :)

However, I still think that I need to be wary that I don't overeat on carbs as I am a huge pasta and potato lover! We shall see how we get on!

Right, moving on-
I do try and plan my meals for the week so let's see what is on the menu!

Friday- I've had jacket potato with cheese for lunch so for dinner I'm thinking of diet coke chicken (first time trying it, if it's yummy then I'll post a recipe) with vegetables.

Saturday- Not sure what will be cooking for lunch, but dinner will be steak with slimming world chips and peas.

Sunday- Pork with roast potatoes (cooked in fry light) and vegetables. Maybe a little gravy?

This is where I'm up to right now but will know more when I've got a bit more shopping :)

What's on your menu this week?
