So, I'm Lucy, hi! I'm a 20 year old Mum of one from Chester. 

I have never been comfortable with my weight, During high school my weight fluctuated and I would every so often go on extreme diets to lose weight quickly.  By the time I had left school and reached 17, my best friends were a few years older than me and the majority of our nights consisted of alcohol and takeaways. I settled at a weight of about 9 stone before I fell pregnant with my little boy. 

I used pregnancy as an excuse to eat whatever I wanted and to be lazy, no point lying about that. I naively expected that after giving birth the weight would just come off, but 10 months and 4 stone later, I realised that wasn't the case. I had reached 13 stone.  I joined slimming world when my little boy was about 8 months old, I was now 12 stone 7lb. My Mum won't mind me saying that she was overweight and we hoped that we would be able to motivate each other if we both joined. I got down to a weight of 10 stone 13lb, and I was thrilled. Unfortunately, life got in the way and as I went through a very tough year, the weight piled back on, with the addition of an extra couple of pounds. 

I started this blog at 12 stone 9lb. My goal is to get to 8 stone. This isn't concrete, but it is the weight that I imagine I will feel comfortable with. I'm only 5 ft 1 which means that a healthy weight for me ranges between 98- 132lb (7 stone- 9 1/2 stone). After having a baby, my body has changed dramatically. I feel like although I was fairly comfortable with 9 stone before, that with the changes my body has gone through, 8 stone will be more ideal. However, if I feel comfortable before I reach this weight, I will definitely change my goal.

So 65lb to target! I'm hoping that I will reach my 21st birthday (1st September 2013) slimmer and more confident than ever :)
